Rocco Tano, in art Siffredi, was born in Ortona Mare on 4 may 1964. When he was 16 he enlisted as volunteer in merchant marine to let it in 1982 and reached his brother Giorgio in Paris. While helping to manage the family restaurant, he yearnt to enter the porn, that has always fascinated him since his childhood. In '85 he met the well- known porn actor of the '80s Gabriel Pontello. Pontello brought him in the hard-core environment, starting with pictures for porn magazines, and then introducing him to producer Marc Dorcel and director Michel Ricaud.
