Extended information text on the use of cookies
This website uses technical cookies to ensure the proper functioning of procedures, and improve the experience of online applications. This document provides information about the use of cookies and similar technologies, how they are used by the site, and how to manage them.
Definition
Cookies are small text files that the sites visited by users send to their terminals. Here they are stored and sent back to the same sites the next visit. Cookies from "third parties" are set by a website other than the one the user is visiting. This because each site may contain items (images, maps, sounds, specific links to web pages of other domains, etc..) that reside on servers, which are different from the ones visited.
Types of cookies
Depending on the characteristics and use of cookies, different categories can be distinguished:
Technical cookies. Technical cookies have the sole purpose of "transmitting a communication on an electronic communication network, or to the strictly necessary extent to the provider of an information company service, explicitly requested by the subscriber or user, to provide such a service" (see art. 122, paragraph 1, of the Code). They are not used for other purposes and are usually installed directly by the owner or administrator of the website. They can be classified into navigation or session cookies, which guarantee standard navigation and use of the website; analytical cookies, similar to technical cookies when used directly by the website administrator to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and on how they visit the website itself; functional cookies, which allow the user to navigate according to a series of selected criteria, in order to improve the service provided. The prior consent of the users is not required for the installation of such cookies, while it is mandatory to provide information according to art. 13 of the Code, which the operator of the site, in case it uses only such devices, may provide in the most appropriate manners.
Profiling cookies. Profiling cookies create user profiles to send advertising messages, in line with the preferences of the user in the context of surfing the web. Due to the particular invasiveness that such devices may have in the user's privacy, the European and Italian legislation provides that the user must be adequately informed about the use of cookies and therefore express its permission. Article 122 of the Code refers to them where it provides that "the storage of information in the terminal equipment of a contractor or a user or access to information already stored is permitted only if the contractor or user has given his consent after being informed in a simplified manner referred to in Article 13, paragraph 3" (Article 122, paragraph 1, of the Code). This website does not use profiling cookies.
"Third Parties" cookies

You can selectively disable Google Analytics by installing the opt-out component provided by Google on your browser. To disable the action of Google Analytics, please refer to the link below:

Duration of the cookies
Some cookies (session cookies) remain active only until the browser is closed, or if the user has logged out. Other cookies remain after the closing of the browser and are available for following visits by the user. These cookies are persistent and their duration is fixed by the server at the time of their creation. In some cases a deadline is set, in other cases the duration is unlimited.
Cookies management
You can decide whether or not to accept cookies by using your browser settings.
Attention: with the disabling "third party" does not affect in any way the navigability.
The setting can be defined specifically for different websites and web applications. In addition, browsers allow you to define different settings for "proprietary" and "third party" cookies.
For example, in Firefox, through the menu Tools->Options->Privacy, you can access a control panel where you can define whether or not to accept different types of cookies and proceed to remove them. In the internet you can easily find documentation on how to set the rules of management of cookies for your browser, for example we report some addresses related to the main browsers:
